About Me

Hi there! My name is Athena and I enjoy creating sugar cookies for any occasion. I am a full time night nurse in the Emergency Department (hence the name ED Cookie Zone). I spend my time off in the kitchen baking, planning, creating the next cookie idea. Part time cookier, full time nurse. Baking was not always my strong suit. I always enjoyed baking when I was young but I was just wasn’t very good at it. Cookies too thin and burnt, cake overcooked or stuck to the pan, icing melting off cakes, but I still loved doing it! It wasn’t until 2019 I came across a video on Facebook showing cookie decorating. I was so intrigued with the process that I began researching how to decorate sugar cookies. 3 years later here I am with my very own cookie business.

I also enjoy crafting with my Cricut Joy especially with downloadable cookie stencils. Drawn By Krista and Stencibelle are some of favorites that offer SVG cookie stencils.
